This Nevada woman wanted to enhance the appearance of her lips. She had tried fillers before, and she wanted a more permanent solution. She wanted as much enlargement as possible. The PermaLip Implant comes in 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm sizes. For most patients, the 5mm implant is not recommended, and would probably be difficult to place in a first-time surgery. Therefore, we agreed that Dr. Nachbar would place the 4mm PermaLip, and if the patient wanted to switch to the 5mm Implant, that could be done later. These pictures are about nine months after the 4mm PermaLip Implants were placed in the upper and lower lips. She did not feel this was large enough, and so Dr. Nachbar switched her to the 5mm PermaLip implants subsequent to these photos, but these photos show the results from the 4mm PermaLip implants.
