3-D Simulation of Silicone Gel Breast Augmentation*This young mother from northern Arizona had only had one child about 14 months previously, but had breast fed the child for 8 months, and noted that her breasts become smaller and deflated appearing after breast feeding. We performed a 3-D surgical simulation, and we selected 339 cc Silicone Gel Breast Implants, which were placed under the muscle using an inframammary approach. After her surgery, we compared the actual result from surgery with the 3-D Surgical Simulation we had done before her surgery. The surgery nicely filled out her breasts, and the 3-D Surgical Simulation was quite accurate, as you can see.
