Scottsdale Breast Implant Exchange From Saline To Smaller Silicone Implants*

This woman had saline breast implants placed elsewhere about ten years ago. About two years ago, one of them deflated, and she had the same surgeon replace it. However, she thought that the implants were too large. She had been told that they were 425 cc implants filled to 475 cc, and she wanted to go smaller. Dr Nachbar performed breast implant exchange to 371 cc intermediate profile cohesive silicone gel breast implants, placed in the sub-muscular space using the inframammary approach. In surgery, the previous implants were even larger than we thought: the left implant weighed 508 grams and the right one weighed 588 grams. She is shown 8 months later with her somewhat reduced implants, which fit her life better.
