Labiaplasty Surgery

Labiaplasty is a more specialized type of surgery. In some circumstances, the labia can be so enlarged that it produces discomfort and embarassment, even in clothing. In other circumstances, the enlargement is not as great. In some cases, labia surgery can be combined with other procedures.
Labiaplasty can be done via direct excision if the amount to be removed is very large, but more commonly is done using a wedge resection, which preserves the edge of the labia.
